Raymond A. S. Piller is a Senior IT Support Manager with Computing for Arts + Sciences at the University of North Texas and a resident of Quito, Ecuador for the past four years. He has been a professional in IT for over 20 years: started his career in the Army with Special Operations, then worked at Lowe’s Companies, Inc. in North Carolina, and currently at UNT. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Computer Information Systems from UNT and is finishing his masters in Learning Technologies while starting his doctoral studies. He will be moving back to the Denton area this semester with his lovely wife, daughter (3.5 years), and son (almost 2 years). He has actively developed several automations systems used by UNT and other insitutions. He has received laudatory comments from Dell for his streamlined solutions. He will be focusing his future efforts on bringing DevOps and more automation to CAS.
