About

I’m a Senior Security Architect at Baylor Scott & White Health, one of the largest nonprofit health systems in the US. My focus areas include:

  • Authentication & Identity — CyberArk Identity, PAM, EPM; Imprivata SecureLink VPAM
  • Endpoint Security — CrowdStrike EDR for FDA-regulated medical devices; Absolute endpoint resilience
  • Email Security — Proofpoint
  • Observation & Intelligence — Cortex XSIAM (Palo Alto AI-driven SOC/SIEM); CDR
  • Compliance — HIPAA, FDA device security, zero-trust architecture

Before moving full-time into security architecture, I spent years in enterprise IT at the University of North Texas, where I built open source tooling for Windows endpoint management, Active Directory automation, and infrastructure-as-code — much of which lives on GitHub under my personal account and the UNT-CAS org.

I also completed a Master of Science in Learning Technologies at UNT. Those course projects and reflections are preserved on this site.

When I’m not thinking about security, I’m probably playing Minecraft with my kids or tinkering with my homelab.
